One of the thousands of active and satisfied users of Hockey Centre is Mira Kuisma, the head coach of Finland’s U18 Girls’ National Team, also known as the Tyttöleijonat (Girl Lions).
“I have been using the platform for several years now. It was previously called Qridi Sport, but it’s the same platform. I’d say I’ve been using it for at least five years.”
According to Kuisma, Hockey Centre offers a wide range of possibilities for its users.
“For example, I create surveys, self-assessments, and pre-camp questionnaires and collect feedback after training camps. We also use the video tool with the Tyttöleijonat. The journal feature has so far been used only with individual players.”
One of the best aspects of the platform, in Kuisma’s opinion, is that surveys and other entries are stored in Hockey Centre for future reference.
“They are saved there for several years or as long as the player is in our group, for example. We frequently go back to review responses, which we can revisit during training camps.”
Kuisma hopes that more people will start using Hockey Centre and that the platform will evolve to the point where evaluations no longer need to be sent via email.
“Ideally, once evaluations are written about a player, their club and all their coaches could access them directly within the platform.”
